Dr. Jim White is the President and Founder of the Chicago Radio Engineers. Jim earned his Electrical Engineer Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1994 and is a broadcast veteran, with over 35 years of experience in the industry.
Jim Loupas is the president of James Loupas Associates. Sound is his passion. Jim's been creating audience-grabbing psychoacoustics for radio stations since he was Director of Engineering at WCFL Chicago in its glory years.
Jim puts his years of high-level management experience to good use in technical negotiations and studio design. But his uncanny ability to listen is what sets Jim apart.
BILL MAYLONE
Bill Maylone is currently the Chief Engineer for Cedille Records and serves as an engineering consultant for Clear Channel Chicago. He is also an IT consultant for Bay Furniture and the Family Health Center Physicians, Inc.
Bill was the Chief Engineer for WNUA-FM and WRCX-FM as well as a staff engineer for WMET-FM, WJJD/WJMK-FM and WFMT-FM earlier in his career.

A.J. BAUTISTA
A.J. Bautista is the IT Manager for WCKG-FM, WJMK-FM, and WUSN-FM in Chicago. He has worked at Sporting News Radio, WNUR-FM, WXRT-FM, WSCR-AM, WQAM-AM, WKIS-FM, WMT-AM/FM, KRNA-FM, and KZIA-FM.
A.J. provides remote radio engineering services at the Superbowl, the All Star Game and the U.S. Open He also has mastered CDs at Colossal Mastering in Chicago, including a GRAMMY-Nominated release in 2003. Learn more.
CHRIS LUFITZ
Chris Lufitz is the Chief Engineer for WTMX in Chicago. He was the Chief Engineer for WNCI/WFJX in Columbus, Ohio from 1999 to 2001. Chris also served Chairman of the Central Ohio Emergency Alert System during that time.

MONICA BETEL
Monica Betel aides CRE in custom equipment design interfaces for our radio clients. She uses the principles of Gestalt, or how the eye perceives form and function.
Monica can successfully create a variety of different interface styles according to what radio engineers are looking for. She does most of her work in black and white first and then adds color to control interfaces later. By doing this, Monica ensures that the design is successful for our clients.
ROSS JOHNSON
Ross Johnson started work as a board operator for WLTL and in just 3 short years became Chief Engineer. Since then he has worked on studio and transmitter projects for WLUP, WKQX, WONX, WZRD, and Internet FMs.
Ross is currently working on his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT—taking classes in advanced circuit analysis, analog and digital systems, and vector calculus.
MARK HUELSKAMP
Mark Huelskamp became a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) in 1999. He is currently performing IT Network and PC Support projects for Highline Technologies, WRZA, ETI Heating and Air Conditioning and CCI Mobile Installations as well as individual residential customers.
Mark also owns and operates IPowerChicago.com, a full service web design and development firm.
